Cabin remodel, Truckee CA

This 20 year old cabin needed an updated refresh, including new 12’ foot plank hardwood flooring, matching stain on all doors, baseboards, window trim, beams, and railing. Kitchen cabinets were painted gray with a translucent black glaze for depth and new iron cabinet pulls were added. The iron range hood became a feature design for the kitchen, and matching iron panels wrapped the island adding to the rustic feel of the space. Updated light fixtures were added over the island and over the dining room table, an indirect lighting was installed under cabinet toe kicks and on top of the upper cabinets. Open shelving was added with new backsplash, and the living space was transformed into an updated mountain home.
